Some of these little switches on ceiling fans are obvious and in plain site and some of the styles have the little switch hiding on the top of the fan.So here are a couple of diagrams to help you find the switch to change direction on your ceiling fan.
This first one is a pretty classic ceiling fan and has the direction switch in plain site.

Here is another ceiling fan that has the direction switch for the fan sort of hiding on top of the fan and out of site.
One of our fans is made like this and every year I just have to keep running my hand around the top of the fan until I find it.
This is the switch location on a ceiling fan with the big light that is flat.
Unlike the fan above, you cannot see the switch just by looking up at the fan because the switch is literally on top of the fan and out of sight. (Between the fan and your ceiling.)
